Grandma Coon's Maple Syrup

4 cups white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
2 drops Maple flavoring
1 drop Rum flavoring

In a good size sauce pan put in the sugars and water. bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the sugars are dissolved. Let boil for 1 minute, and remove from heat. Add flavorings, stir and serve.
